Other San Francisco stuff

 Early Thursday morning I caught a cable car down the hill. The cable cars were being rennovated when I went to San Francisco with my family in 1983, so had been wanting to catch one ever since. The cable cars only go one way so when they get to the end of the line the driver and conducter get out and turn the thing around! Pete and I hired a car and first stop was Lombard St - the crookedest street in the world (supposedly). Stopped by Coit Tower lookout to take some photos before heading north over the Golden Gate Bridge to the wine country. We didn't quite make it to Napa Valley - went to Sonoma Valley instead. Did some wine (and dip and spread) tasting - yum! before meeting up with my friend Todd for dinner.
